WINCHES
With the addition of one, two or three winches, any excavator will perform double duty as a small yarder. The many available options of Pullmaster Planetary Winches make them ideally suited for different yarding methods.
Low Speed Maximizes Pulling Power for Big Loads
These winches are designed for two modes of operation: high-torque/low-speed for hauling in heavy loads or to break free of snags, the other is high-speed/low-torque for light turns or as loads clear the ground. In reverse, these winches operate only in low-torque/high-speed mode which allows quicker turns.
Bi-Directional High Speed Mode Maximizes Turns
To make a machine as self supportive as possible a strawline may be used as a set-up aid. In most instances a M12-F Pullmaster winch with a large drum and fee spool option is recommended.
