Parker's versatile direct operated, spring loaded 3-way pressure reducing valves with manual adjustment series VM ensure a precise pressure regulation in one area of a hydraulic circuit at a predetermined level below normal system pressure. Function:
Series VM is open in neutral position. The valve closes the connection when the pre-set pressure is exceeded.

If the pressure increases due to an external influence, the spool opens to port T until the pre-set pressure is reached.
